We are dedicated to producing small-batch Washington wines that truly reflect the unique terroir and varietal characteristics of the state's best AVAs and creating a space to share our bond of family with our members and visitors.
Meet the founders & winemakers, James and Matthew, friends who have built their lives around food and wine.
James is a trained chef and event coordinator (Johnson & Wales graduate), bringing a sophisticated palate and a talent for hospitality to every bottle. Crucially, he also gained hands-on expertise working as an assistant winemaker for a local Seattle winery.
Matthew grew up in the Columbia Valley visiting local wineries with his parents, always fascinated by the aromas and complex science of winemaking. He’s our creative problem-solver. His sensory skills are honed by professional palate training from a past career in coffee.
After years spent working in the industry, studying with local vintners, and cultivating a profound knowledge of wine, James and Matt have united their talents to create Wolfpack Cellars. Every bottle we make is a labor of love, crafted with the same bond that brought us together. From our pack to yours.
